WELCOME TO THE 5 X 7 SHOP

HERE’S A SELECTION of studies (OK, experiments) I’ve done with a variety of mediums and process techniques — all with encaustic painting. India ink, shellac, oil paints, gold leaf, metallic finishes, collage, photography — it’s all there. Updated (almost) daily.

EACH PAINTING IS $35 and comes in a front-loading MCS Slimline black polymer wall frame. They can be reframed in any 5x7 frame without glass.

SHIPPING? Up to two paintings can be shipped in one USPS flat-rate box anywhere you like; including APO, AK, and H. In-person pickup is available from my SW Portland studio. If shipping to more than one address, please email me

Encaustic paintings are made by layering and fusing multiple layers of pigmented beeswax on a sturdy surface. All of my paintings are made using exclusively archival materials and with proper care will not fade, separate, or crack over time.
